Rhinestone home decors (Mājas dekoru izveide ar spīguļiem un pērlītēm)

           During the quarantine of Covid 19 I got myself busy on decorating the interior of my house. I created few very cool decors. I had few polystyrene styrofoam elements which I bought on e-bay (a bear, balls and eggs). With the help of rhinestones you can easily decorate not only clothing but you can also make cool home decors. So I decorated the foam bear, balls and eggs with different shiny elements - rhinestones, jelly drill, half pearls and flatbacks. The eggs will be fantastic Easter decors, but all the other decors are used already in my house as regular decors.

Handmade Beaded Patches (Paštaisīti pērlīšu uzšuvumi)

     I really enjoy working with beads in different techniques and this time I embroidered several patches which later on can be sewed on clothing or made into the jewelry (brooch, pendant). It is not difficult to made patches. First thing that I did - I selected from the internet different pictures, mostly from the downloadable coloring page section and then I copied these pictures on the fabric. I used decorative felt as a base for my patch. When pictures are copied there is nothing for it but to cut out them and start the embroidery process. Patches can be embroidered not only with sequins or beads, but also some rhinestones and flatbacks can be glued on for the accent. Everything hinges on your preferences and imagination.

      
    

       Man ārkārtīgi patīk pērļošana, tā ir mana sirdslieta, kas sniedz milzīgu gandarījumu. Ik pa laikam cenšos pamainīt tehnikas, lai process vienmēr sniegtu prieku un iespēju izaugsmei. Where to buy Beading stuff? (Kur pirkt pērļošanai nepieciešamo?)

         I've been doing different beading projects for six years already, so I definitely have a few favorite places where I buy the beading stuff. In the local shops there are practically nothing interesting for the beaders and the prices are  way too inflated so I purchase all that is needed on the internet.

        For my beaded flower and tree compositions are not necessary high quality beads so I mostly use regular beads from China. Seed beads I buy on e-bay.com from the sellers who offer free international shipping. Plus I use the auction format and my bids are mostly only 0,22$. Because it does not make any sense to pay more for beads which are not very qualitative. Right? What concerns bicones, rhinestones, jelly drills, cabochons etc. I also buy them on auctions, but the bits are usually higher. All my gemstones and river pearls also are bought on ebay. Without any doubt I'm a big fan of  e-bay.com and one of the things I like the most is the variety of items and the possibility to take part into auctions.

      In relation to jewelry making, I can say that qualitative chech and japanese beads meet the demands the most for such delicate projects. 8beads.com is an amazing shop with great prices and  there is a free shipping all over the world for orders over 45EUR.  There has been a buzz that it will be closed any time soon, yet it's still open and I have managed to stock up my reserves of beads.

As you can see on the pictures below it is possible to make lovely Christmas tree toys with your own hands. First thing what you need is few small plastic apples or bulbs (which you can easily buy on e-bay or aliexpress), glue, cord, laces and different rhinestones, jelly drills, pearls and beads. Both rhinestones and beads look amazing on the apple. I suggest you to buy special rhinestone or craft glue, by using it the result will be better than using regular glue.

Rhinestoned Photo Album (Izskaistināta fotoalbūma izveide)

     This time I want to share with you really amazing idea how to personalize your photo album in a short period of time. In my project I used some rhinestones, flatbacks, cabochons, jelly drills, half pearls and glue. Its not strictly determined that you need to use them all as well as there are no strict pattern how to glue them and what colors to use. This is just one example regarding photo albums and what is possible to make if you have some shiny stuff and glue. This album I made for my daughter and she loved it a lot.

      Šoreiz vēlos visus iedvesmot uz kautko vienkāršu, bet skaistu. Pastāstīšu nedaudz parto, kā viegli un salīdzinoši ātri ir iespējams padarīt savu parasto fotoalbūmu daudz personiskāku un sirdij tuvāku. Home made crystal headband (Paštaisīts lociņš ar kristāliem un pērlītēm)

      This Friday my daughter will have a birthday party and as a special gift I made for her an amazing headband. She is still a baby so its not a simple headband but an elastic headband (it will be more comfortable for her to wear it). First thing to do was to to make stretchy band more sightly so I sewed two peaces of ribbon together and pulled the ribbon in it. Then I attached stretchy band to the base on which the crystals and beads will be sewed on. When that was done it was time to decorate the base of headband. I wanted it to be extra shine so I used a lot of different rhinestones, flatbacks which where glued on. After the glue dried it was time to continue the decoration of the headband with beads, bicones, crystals and pearls. When decoration was finished I sewed a piece of fabric on the back of the headband so the sewing threads are not visible. It can be  used leather instead of the fabric. The result is quite amazing if I can say.

      Šo piektdien manai princesītei ir svētki un tam par godu gribējās uztaisīt lielisku galvas rotu kā dāvanu. Lociņu nolēmu taisīt uz gumijas, lai tas stabili turētos uz galvas mazajai jubilārei. Lai gumija būtu vizuāli pievilcīgāka, es sašuvu kopā divus lentas gabalus kopā un iekšā ievēru gumiju. Nākamais solis bija piešūt gumijas abus galus pie pamatnes, kura vēlāk tiks dekorēta ar kristāliem. Vēlējos, lai lociņš būtu maksimāli grezns, tāpēc pielīmēju klāt salīdzinoši daudz spīguļu, akmentiņu, kristāliņu. Tiklīdz līme bija pilnībā nožuvusi ar diega un adatas palīdzību turpināju rotāšanu. Kad pērlītes un bumbiņas bija piešutas lociņa aizmuguri apšuvu ar audumu, lai diegi nedūtu redzami. Auduma vietā ir iespējams izmantot arī ādas gabalu, ja tāds ir.     This time I want to share some very simple idea how to make a cool decor which you can use for your phone case or as fridge magnet. My little daughter is a huge Hello Kitty fan so I bought on e-bay large kawaii flatback to make special fridge magnet for her. I decided to make it even more beautiful with rhinestones and jelly drills. On the flat side I used glue to attach magnet. 

   Šis ir salīdzinoši vienkārš veids kā izveidot foršu dekoru savam mobīlā telefona vāciņam vai ledusskapja megnētu.
